Special Learning · service status

Is it us or is it you?

If a page will not load for you, this tells you whether we can see the same problem. Every line below was measured by fetching the page and reading what came back, not by asking a server whether it felt well.

Everything is responding right now. 1 of 8 checked pages failed earlier in the window.

Affected earlier: Store: Video CE Library. Those pages are passing every check again. Each row below shows how many of its own checks passed, so you can see how long it lasted.

What “passed” means here

Most status pages check whether a server answers. Ours cannot: every name under special-learning.com answers, including names that do not exist. We tested that: three invented hostnames returned identical, healthy-looking 37,532-byte pages. So a green light based on the server answering would mean nothing on our site.

A page passes here only if all four of these are true on that fetch:

  1. the server answered with 200 OK;
  2. the page that came back is at least as large as the floor set for that page;
  3. a phrase that only appears on that specific page is present in it;
  4. none of our error-page wording is present in it.

The third one is what catches the failure the other three miss. On September 2, 2026 our store served a 2,090-byte “something went wrong” card in place of real pages, and nothing noticed, because a size floor alone would not have caught a full-size wrong page.
